This global leader in automotive services for U.S. military, diplomatic, and international communities abroad—based in the Syosset, NY area—is seeking a Customer Delivery Coordinator to manage the full delivery experience for assigned customers. From initial contact through post-delivery follow-up, you will ensure a seamless and customer-focused process.
This role offers a base salary of $45K (+ commission) and the opportunity to join a growing team during an exciting period of organizational expansion.
Key Responsibilities
- Communicate professionally with customers, agents, associates, manufacturers, and financial institutions
- Update and maintain tasks for each assigned customer
- Manage follow-up procedures and control reports to ensure timely responses
- Review overdue stock holds and coordinate timely vehicle releases
- Provide solutions for cancellation requests
- Email customers 30 days prior to the delivery or preferred delivery date
- Email customers again 21 days prior to the delivery or preferred delivery date
- Call customers once they return stateside
- Coordinate delivery schedules between customers and dealers
- Collect missing documentation prior to delivery
- Identify tax, title, and registration requirements before customer arrival
- Manage late delivery issues
- Address and resolve customer complaints
- Ensure payment in full is received prior to delivery
- Book and finalize deals
- Call customers two days after delivery for feedback and survey follow-up
- Keep tasks open for each customer up to seven days post-delivery to ensure order close-out
- Meet monthly and quarterly delivery targets
- Perform additional duties as needed
