What You'll Own

  • Build pre-season and in-season financial plans across sales, markdowns, receipts, and margin
  • Partner with Planning leadership to reconcile bottom-up and top-down financial targets
  • Drive the Open to Buy process, balancing opportunity identification with inventory discipline
  • Lead Open to Buy meetings and facilitate cross-functional financial decision-making
  • Analyze pricing structures and recommend in-season pricing and margin strategies
  • Lead weekly product and business performance reviews, identifying risks, trends, and action plans
  • Partner closely with Buyers, Assortment Planners, and vendors on seasonal forecasts and product strategies
  • Analyze vendor performance, trade terms, and financial opportunities to support stronger outcomes
  • Build trusted relationships across internal stakeholders and external brand partners

What Makes You a Strong Fit

  • 3+ years of experience in financial planning, merchandise planning, retail finance, or related functions
  • Strong experience building and managing financial plans within a retail or consumer environment
  • Advanced Excel skills required
  • Experience with planning systems such as SAS, SAP, Marketmax, or similar platforms preferred
  • Strong business math, analytical, and critical thinking capabilities
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Commercially minded with strong business and margin acumen
  • Strong communication and influencing skills across cross-functional teams
  • Experience in trend-driven, high-volume retail strongly preferred
  • Passion for sneaker culture and consumer retail a plus
