Bachelor's degree, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT Certification), and minimum 1+ years Radiation Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This opportunity seeks a skilled Radiation Therapist to provide expert outpatient cancer care using advanced radiation therapy equipment. The role is based in Monroe, NC, offering a contract position working closely with a collaborative team dedicated to treating 60 to 100 patients daily.
Responsibilities include delivering precise radiation treatments primarily on Varian Truebeam Linear Accelerators, managing patient care for outpatient ambulatory cancer diagnoses, and maintaining accurate treatment records using the EPIC/Aria EMR system. The therapist may also be required to float within the greater Charlotte areas radiation therapy sites, pending manager approval.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Radiation Therapist
- Current ARRT-T certification and BLS certification required
- Proficiency in operating Varian Truebeam Linear Accelerators
- Experience working with diverse cancer diagnoses
- Ability to adapt to departmental and facility orientation protocols
