CI Azumano is seeking a Supervisor, Executive Government Travel in Washington, DC. The objective of this work is to serve as the primaryand first-line technical resource for travel of the Executive office of the President. The Government Supervisor functions as the subject-matter expert for the Executive Office travel. The Supervisor is responsible to work closely with their assigned travel consultants to create a cohesive team culture, while helping them to develop into strong travel consulting professionals.
This position will work onsite in the Executive office building, and be responsible for the activities of the travel team 24/7/365.
Roles and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Work under the direction and guidance of the Director of Government Client Services to: (1) establish individual and team performance goals and (2) develop a viable plan for tracking and reporting team members' performance and goal achievement.
- Provide required reports to clients on a monthly basis including CBA reconciliation reporting, telephone and refund exchange reporting
- Train team members
- Ensure that the required telephone customer service quality levels are consistently achieved; monitor the TSF as well as take customer calls as necessary.
- Serve as a Government Department technical (SME) when working with Client Development team on implementation of new client service programs.
- Develop the weekly/monthly work schedule for the team, to ensure that proper telephone coverage is maintained for the assigned accounts/contracts.
- Maintain and approve time sheets for team members.
- Provide ongoing written assessment of team members and participate in the annual performance review input to the Director of Government Client Service
Basic Qualifications:
- Active Top Secret Clearance
- Bachelor's degree in business, or travel and hospitality, along with 5 (five) years of travel agent or (Associate's degree and 15 years of experience is an alternative.)
- Knowledge of Worldspan and SABRE
- Knowledge of Airline Travel Sites, online booking tools including E2, DTS and CGE
