Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is looking for a caring and reliable Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join a healthcare team in Los Angeles. In this role, you will work with a team to provide quality, patient-focused care to people experiencing homelessness and substance use.
Type: Contract to hire
Schedule: Sunday–Thursday, 11:00 PM – 8:00 AM (Night Shift)
Pay Rate: $21.00–$25.00/hour, based on experience
Primary Responsibilities Include:
• Provide hands-on patient care, assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, feeding, and toileting
• Assist with wound care, medication reminders, and patient monitoring under RN supervision
• Support patient hygiene needs including clothing changes, wound cleaning, and grooming
• Obtain vital signs, assist with patient rooming, and perform basic health assessments
• Engage patients in a compassionate, respectful, and non-judgmental manner
• Assist with phlebotomy (or willingness to be trained), including patients with difficult venous access
• Participate in harm reduction efforts such as overdose prevention education and safe-use supply distribution
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including nurses, medical assistants, case managers, and behavioral health staff
• Assist with mobile and community outreach efforts in non-traditional settings (drop-in centers, park-lets, outreach sites)
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care and services
• Support a safe, welcoming, and patient-centered care environment
Required Qualifications:
• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in California
• Current BLS/CPR certification
• At least 1 year of CNA experience preferred (hospital, clinic, rehab, or community health setting)
• Up-to-date on immunizations (MMR, Hept B, PPD, Flu)
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
