Precision Assembler – Medical Components & Sub-Assemblies
Full-Time | Benefits Eligible | Non-Exempt

Position Summary
Instrument Technology, Inc. is seeking both an entry level and a skilled Precision Assembler to support the assembly of medical instruments and devices used in remote imaging and visualization applications. This role works cross-functionally with Quality, Engineering, Operations, and the Machine Shop to ensure products are built accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with established procedures and specifications.

We are looking for someone detail-oriented, hands-on, and committed to high quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assemble medical instrument components used in diagnostic imaging and surgical applications
  • Build and test products according to approved procedures and ISO 13485 requirements
  • Complete required documentation accurately and thoroughly
  • Perform Factory Acceptance Testing prior to final Quality inspection
  • Troubleshoot, verify, and repair returned products
  • Collaborate with Engineering and Manufacturing to improve product quality and reduce defects
  • Maintain proper storage and identification of materials and equipment

Qualifications

  • High school diploma required; technical school training preferred
  • 2+ years of medical assembly experience preferred
  • Excellent manual dexterity and hand/eye coordination
  • Experience soldering under a microscope
  • Ability to use electronic and mechanical measurement/testing equipment
  • Ability to read and interpret work instructions and assembly drawings
  • Ability to stand, sit, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs
  • Willingness to work overtime as needed

Preferred Experience

  • Experience in ISO/GMP/FDA regulated environments
  • Comfortable using microscopes and precision assembly tools
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team setting
  • Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
