Home Health Aide Needed
Job Responsibilities:

Monitors and records patient mental and physical condition, input and output, providing emotional and physical support and personal services, as needed.

Provides twice-daily support and motivation for patient participation in basic physical therapy exercises.

Records patient information by making entries in the patient journal and notifying family of changing or unusual conditions and records for the above.

Provide light housekeeping, prepare and serve meals and snacks.

Help with personal services, such as dressing, and grooming.

Helps family members care for patient needs (getting water, getting a blanket when needed, etc.)

Maintains a safe, secure, and healthy patient environment by following cleanliness standards and procedures, maintaining security precautions, and following prescribed dietary requirements and nutrition standards.

Adheres to professional standards, home care policies and procedures, federal, state, and local requirements.
Work Hours & Benefits:

25-30 hours per week, generally from approximately 10:00am - 3:00 or 4:00pm, M-F.

$16.50 - $19.00 / hour, depending on experience
Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED
-
Evidence of Idaho State Home Health Aide certification

Minimum 1+ year(s) professional or personal experience supporting elderly individuals

Must have ability to provide own transportation to and from work location

Must be over 21 years old
