Bachelor's degree from an ASHA-accredited university, active Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license and minimum 1+ years speech-language pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This opportunity is for a full-time Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) position in a school setting located in Saint Johns, FL, with an assignment based in Jacksonville, FL. The contract runs from ASAP through May 28, 2026, requiring onsite presence 35 hours per week (7 hours per day). Two positions are available with distinct responsibilities:
- The first position involves supporting a virtual Speech Language Pathologist by facilitating speech services directly on-site.
- The second position includes managing a traditional caseload by providing direct speech therapy services to students.
Candidates must hold an active Florida Department of Health SLPA license. Fingerprint clearance is also required; if previous fingerprints on file through the AHCA Clearinghouse are valid, verification and a JLA badge application will be necessary. This role supports a school-aged population and will likely be assigned to one school site, though final confirmation is pending.
Key qualifications and requirements:
