Job DescriptionLine Cook / Prep Cook – Amoura Restaurant (South San Francisco)
Amoura, a family-owned Mediterranean-inspired restaurant in South San Francisco, is hiring a Line Cook / Prep Cook to join our team. This position includes commissary prep work and grab-n-go item preparation in addition to cooking on the line.
Responsibilities:
- Cook on a hot line in a high-volume, fast-paced restaurant environment.
- Prep vegetables, proteins, sauces, and daily ingredients.
- Assemble and package grab-n-go items with consistency and accuracy.
- Follow recipes and maintain quality, portion, and safety standards.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe.
Requirements:
- 1–2 years of experience as a line cook in a high-volume restaurant (required).
- Strong knife skills and knowledge of basic cooking techniques.
- Reliable, motivated, and able to work with urgency.
- Friendly team player, flexible with schedule.
- Valid food handler’s certificate.
