Position Summary:
Landsea Homes is seeking a highly organized individual interested in a fast-paced and challenging position as a Human Resources Coordinator. You will play a vital role in implementing, maintaining, and promoting our company culture through effective employee relations.
Responsibilities:
- Perform receptionist tasks, including phone handling, mail management, supply ordering, and maintaining office and kitchen supplies.
- Oversee HR-related activities, including organizing projects, facilitating meetings, and coordinating training seminars.
- Respond to day-to-day employee inquiries, adeptly troubleshooting concerns such as payroll, benefits, PTO, expense reporting, and employment verifications.
- Collaborate with Human Resources to coordinate and oversee division events, ensuring successful planning and execution.
- Partner with Talent Acquisition to manage job postings on career sites and liaise with local educational institutions.
- Assist Human Resources with new hire requisitions, onboarding, pre-employment screenings, and daily administration tasks.
- Coordinate meetings and presentations, including catering and venue selection.
- Administer office access control and parking and oversee all office safety requirements, as needed.
- Assist various departments and perform additional tasks or projects as requested.
Qualifications:
- HS Diploma required. Bachelor’s Degree preferred, but not required.
- Minimum 2 - 3 years of Clerical/Administrative experience within a fast-paced office setting.
- Proficient in MS Office: Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Strong telephone and customer service skills.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment while being flexible, proactive, resourceful, and efficient, with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality at all times.
- Team player, able to collaborate with fellow team members, and volunteers willingly to assist others as needed.
Physical Requirements:
This is primarily a sedentary position. May be required to occasionally bend, stoop, reach, lift, move and carry office materials and supplies weighing 25 pounds or less. Finger dexterity is required to operate a computer keyboard. This position requires public contact, as such, appropriate business apparel and professional appearance is expected.
Travel Requirements:
This is a full-time, in-office position. Occasional travel may be required to run errands outside of the office. A valid driver's license and active vehicle insurance is required at all times.
