Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time or part-time school psychologist role is available for the 2025-2026 school year in Rock Hall, MD, with the possibility of renewal. This position involves working in a travel capacity across multiple school settings, including three elementary schools, one middle school, and one high school. Assignments will vary throughout the school year, providing a dynamic work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments, including cognitive, social/emotional/behavioral, and adaptive evaluations for students in grades PK-21.
- Complete Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs) and develop Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) as needed.
- Attend Individualized Education Program (IEP) and Student Support Team (SST) meetings to provide psychological expertise.
- Potentially support counseling services, although no current caseload is identified for counseling.
- Collaborate with educators and staff to support student success and compliance with federal and state regulations.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Must hold valid Maryland School Psychologist certification.
- Experience in school psychology is preferred.
- Ability to manage multiple school assignments and maintain flexible scheduling.
- Strong assessment, consultation, and communication skills are essential.
Work Schedule:
- Monday through Friday
- Preferred shifts: 7:20 AM to 2:40 PM and/or 8:30 AM to 3:50 PM
