NOW HIRING!! A-Line is seeking an experienced Pharmacist to join the team in Fridley, MN! Enjoy a competitive pay of $68.93/hr and a supportive work environment with flexible weekday and weekend shifts. You’ll play a vital role in patient care—dispensing medications, counseling patients, supervising pharmacy staff, and collaborating with healthcare professionals. IV experience is a plus, but not required. Licensed Pharmacists with a Doctor of Pharmacy degree are encouraged to apply!


Pharmacist – Fridley, MN

Pay: $68.93/hr
Schedule: Monday through Friday (varying shifts)

  • M-F: 9:30 am–6:00 pm / 10:00 am–6:30 pm / 11:00 am–8:30 pm
  • Sat-Sun: 10:00 am–6:30 pm
    Overtime: Not required, may be offered occasionally
    Preferred Experience: IV experience is a plus, but not required


Responsibilities:

  • Accept and dispense prescription medications accurately and safely.
  • Monitor patient medication compliance and detect over-usage patterns.
  • Ensure compliance with laws governing the supply and use of medicines.
  • Verify that prescribed medications are appropriate and safe for patients.
  • Maintain accurate, confidential patient records and pharmacy files.
  • Provide patient counseling on medications, including proper use, potential reactions, and answering questions.
  • Advise on prescription and over-the-counter medications, including storage, dosage, side effects, and drug interactions.
  • Offer patient services such as smoking cessation, blood pressure monitoring, and cholesterol management.
  • Educate patients on the proper use of medical devices, including blood pressure monitors and glucose meters.
  • Compound medications for internal and external use as required.
  • Prepare sterile solutions following proper procedures.
  • Supervise pharmacy staff, including technicians and clerks.
  • Maintain appropriate inventory of pharmaceutical and medical supplies.
  • Identify and communicate drug-related problems with physicians and other healthcare practitioners.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, pharmacy interns, and other healthcare professionals.


Qualifications:

  • Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree required.
  • Licensed by the state pharmacy board.
