Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Make a meaningful impact on the lives of children ages birth to five by providing psychological services in an engaging educational environment. As a contract School Psychologist, you’ll collaborate with diverse educational teams serving young learners in communities across Salem/South Marion County and Yamhill County during the upcoming school year.

This full-time opportunity runs from July 6, 2026, through June 11, 2027, and is available as either a 205-day or 215-day contract. You’ll help lay the foundation for early learning success alongside educators and families.

Desired Experience & Qualifications:

  • Master’s or Doctorate in School Psychology from an accredited program
  • State licensure as a School Psychologist (or eligibility)
  • Experience supporting children from birth to age five, including developmental assessments and interventions
  • Strong knowledge of special education processes, early intervention, and early childhood services
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills
  • Adaptable, proactive approach to problem-solving
  • Previous experience in school settings preferred

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological and developmental evaluations for young children
  • Consult with families, teachers, and multidisciplinary teams to develop individualized plans
  • Identify and recommend evidence-based interventions and supports
  • Participate in the creation and review of Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSPs)
  • Provide crisis intervention, consultation, and behavioral strategies as needed
  • Maintain thorough records, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical guidelines
  • Promote positive social, emotional, and academic growth for early learners
