Pay Rate: $28 – $30/hr. on W2
Work Environment: Office setting work environment
Position Summary:
This role supports the SAP project and broader packaging initiatives by ensuring accurate, compliant packaging-material master data and specifications across systems. The position works closely with the Global Packaging Materials team to manage data imports, maintain documentation quality, and provide operational support, while also contributing to special projects and data analyses related to packaging engineering.
Overview:
Seeking a Packaging Engineer to support SAP-driven packaging initiatives, focusing on material data accuracy, compliance, and operational packaging processes in a lab/production environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain packaging material data and specifications in SAP
- Support data imports, documentation, and packaging-related projects
- Assist in packaging operations including chemical weighing, labeling, and handling
- Ensure compliance with GMP, safety, and documentation standards (GDP)
- Operate and maintain semi-automated packaging and labeling equipment
- Collaborate with global packaging teams on system and process improvements
Required Skills:
- Basic experience in Packaging Engineering / Science
- Strong Microsoft Excel and SAP knowledge
- Understanding of data management and documentation
- Ability to follow SOPs, safety protocols, and handle chemicals
Nice to Have:
- Dangerous goods packaging knowledge
- GMP or lab/production environment experience
