Pay: $110,000 - $150,000 per Year (Based on Experience)

Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking a Director of Trauma Program for an exciting Local job in Fort Walton Beach, FL.
Responsibilities

Manage, coordinate, and maintain readiness for all Level II Trauma Center verification and re-verification activities.

Execute long-range strategic planning and coordinate multidisciplinary trauma care across the continuum of care.

Serve as the primary liaison between local, regional, and state trauma systems.

Monitor trauma program quality metrics, clinical processes, and patient outcomes.

Design and implement quality assurance initiatives, peer reviews, and multidisciplinary case reviews.

Oversee trauma registry operations, performance improvement activities, trend reporting, and clinical research initiatives.

Maintain compliance with trauma program standards while safeguarding patient confidentiality.

Develop and monitor processes to improve financial performance, billing accuracy, and resource utilization.

Conduct clinical rounds and collaborate with trauma surgeons, emergency department staff, and hospital leadership.

Address patient and family concerns while supporting exceptional patient care outcomes.

Supervise, mentor, and support trauma registry and data management personnel.
Required Qualifications

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Registered Nurse Diploma.

Active Florida Registered Nurse (RN) License or Compact RN License.

Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Certification required within 30 days of employment.

Minimum 5+ years of recent acute care Trauma Leadership experience within the last year.

Experience as a Trauma Program Manager or Trauma Coordinator within a designated trauma center.

Strong trauma program operations, regulatory compliance, and quality improvement expertise.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with surgeons, staff, and executive leadership.
