Summary

Beach Manor School committed to developing a love of learning for all our students through a unique individualized curriculum!

We are currently interviewing for lead teachers for the 2026-2027 school year.

Candidates must have prior teaching experience with young children. They should exhibit creativity and adaptability to effectively engage and keep the attention of their young students. The ability to communicate clearly with students and their parents is also a vital quality, along with patience and the energy necessary to keep up with small children on a daily basis



Part time and full time positions could be available.

Duties

• Prepare and implement provided Manor School curriculum
• Individualize lessons for each child
• Create and maintain a positive learning environment
• Establish and enforce rules of behavior for children in their classrooms
• Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet the interests and learning styles of children
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with children and parents
• Manage classroom activities including lessons, play, breaks and meals
• Track childrens’ progress and adjust as needed
• Maintain a clean and tidy classroom
• Help children reach developmental milestones
• Collaborate with others to implement lesson plans
• Encourage children to interact with each other to develop social skills
• Provide appropriate supervision for children at all times
• Facilitate various activities for children including songs, games and storytelling
• Adhere to health/safety and sanitation procedures

Requirements

• Prior professional teaching experience with young children
• High school diploma required, Bachelor's degree preferred
• Professional references
• Understanding of child development
• High energy.
• Ability to work well with others.
• Must clear full background check and must pass health screening.
