Job Overview
A leading Magnet-designated teaching hospital system is seeking an experienced Radiation Therapist for a travel assignment supporting oncology services across two nearby locations in Minneapolis and St. Paul. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with advanced radiation therapy equipment and image-guided treatment techniques.
Shift Details
- Day Shift
- Monday – Friday
- 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
- 13-week assignment
- No weekends or on-call required
Responsibilities
- Administer prescribed radiation therapy treatments safely and accurately
- Operate advanced radiation therapy and imaging equipment
- Collaborate with radiation oncologists, physicists, dosimetrists, and clinical teams
- Prepare and position patients for treatment procedures
- Monitor patient response and maintain treatment documentation
- Ensure radiation safety and quality assurance standards are followed
- Float between two nearby oncology locations as needed
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of Radiation Therapist experience
- ARRT-T certification required
- BLS certification required
- Ability to work across two facilities approximately 10 miles apart
- Strong communication and patient care skills
Preferred Experience
- Experience with:
- Varian TrueBeam systems
- EDGE packages
- CT Simulation
- AlignRT / Vision RT
- CBCT
- Triggered Imaging
- Experience in acute care or teaching hospital environments
