RCM is partnering with a North Suburban Therapeutic Day School seeking paraprofessionals for the 2025-2026 school year.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Paraprofessional will work in a special education classroom 1:1 and small groups. Students could be prK-HS aged with a variety of disabilities (cognitively, physically and emotionally.
- Paraprofessional will work under the direction of the classroom teacher and support academic, social, and emotional learning.
- Para may collect and record data, provide academic instruction and support, assist in classroom and individual student (behavior) management and other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Paraprofessional must have PEL (Professional Educator License): either a PEL (Para) or a PEL (SUB).
- Prefer paraprofessional with school-based para experience.
- Credentials to be collected prior to and upon hire.
COMPENSATION:
- Competitive salary and benefits available for those working 30 hrs/wk or more. Medical, dental, vision, and legal services plans available. Short- and long-term disability optional. Life insurance. Sick time accrued. 401k plan.
- Hourly wage starts at $21/hr. Weekly pay.
