GZ Printpak LLC, part of the globally recognized GZ Media Group, is continuing to expand our U.S. manufacturing operations in Mount Pleasant, Wisconsin. We produce high-quality paper packaging products for premium and luxury brands, and we are actively building out a strong, reliable maintenance team to support our growth.
We are looking for a hands-on Manufacturing Maintenance Technician to join our 2nd shift team and keep our production equipment running safely and efficiently.
Schedule
2nd Shift: 1:30 PM – 10:00 PM
Additional hours or flexibility may be required based on production needs
What You’ll Do
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production machinery and facility equipment
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and basic electrical issues
- Set up and adjust machines to meet production specifications and output requirements
- Support machine operation as needed, including loading materials and monitoring quality
- Execute minor and mid-level repairs and assist with major repairs and equipment overhauls
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs and documentation
- Coordinate with production and leadership to minimize downtime and improve equipment reliability
- Identify recurring issues and recommend improvements to prevent future breakdowns
- Follow all safety procedures and contribute to a strong safety culture on the floor
What We’re Looking For
- High school diploma or GED required
- 2–4 years of hands-on maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong mechanical aptitude with experience working directly on industrial equipment
- Working knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, and basic electrical systems
- Experience with machine setup, adjustment, and preventative maintenance programs
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals
- Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced production environment
- Physically capable of standing for extended periods and lifting up to 50 lbs
- Strong problem-solving mindset and sense of ownership
Nice to Have
- Technical or vocational training in industrial maintenance, mechanical, or electrical trades
- Experience in printing, packaging, or converting environments
