High Precision tool and die shop in Horsham, PA is looking for qualified toolmaker, grinder and/or CNC machinist for our shop.

We are a family run business that has been supplying the electronics and medical industries for over 30 years. We are a medium volume, high variety shop. We fabricate parts in the range from 1 piece per year to over 1000 pieces per year. We are not a production shop, but we adhere to lean manufacturing and continuous improvement principles.

This is also a great opportunity to work in our recently expanded EDM department if qualified

We mainly work with tool steels and stainless steel. Attention to detail is a must.

We are a full service shop, from milling to grinding and EDM services as well.

We only have one shift, 7 am to 5:30 pm, Monday thru Friday.

Responsibilities and Duties

Operate and maintain various 3 axis Makino vertical milling machines, along with manual mills

Operate 6" x 12 " Mitsui Dry Grinders

Operate 12" x 24" Wet Grinders

Understanding the programming of these machines

Inspect parts at all stages to confirm within specifications

Utilize shop and personal measuring equipment

Set heights and compensations for all types of drills, endmills, cutters

Qualifications and Skills

Ability to understand G code instructions

Must be able to read a print and understand tolerancing

Must know how to determine that a part is square

Part pickup, setup, fixturing

Must know how to use micrometers, surface gages indicators, and other inspection equipment
