This job is perfect for a college student, especially in the Educational field. A private household is looking to hire a tutor for their son who is in 1st grade.

Job location is in Bloomfield NJ.

Hours are: Hours are 5 pm - 7:30 pm Mon-Sat

And occasional mornings 10am -12:30 pm;

Duties:

- Planning and carrying out curriculum compliance with the NY State educational and development standards.

- Helping the child to develop positive self-image and experience success.

- Encouraging the exploration of interests and developmental social skills.

- Developing schedules and routines ensuring physical activity, rest, and playtime.

· Advantage if you have experience as a primary school teacher and references.

· Excellent understanding of the principles of child development and school educational methods

· Familiarity with safety and sanitation guidelines for classrooms

· Excellent communication and instructional skills

· Ability to act as mediator between children

· Cool-tempered, friendly, and reliable

·Advantage if you have Certification in child CPR (or willing to become certified)
