Medical Device Manufacturing | Clean Room
We’re hiring an Injection Mold Technician to support medical device production in a clean room environment. This role works hands-on with thermoplastic and liquid silicone rubber (LSR) molding and supports high-quality, regulated manufacturing.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate thermoplastic and LSR molding machines
- Perform daily mold maintenance and basic troubleshooting
- Set up robotic EOAT and load correct robot programs
- Configure hot runner/cold deck systems and process monitoring equipment
- Record and monitor process data using ERP and IQMS SPC systems
- Set up work cells per IQMS layouts
- Inspect and properly store molds after production runs
Qualifications
- 1+ year experience with thermoplastic or LSR setups, or Mold Technician Level One training
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to read blueprints and follow preventive maintenance practices
- High School Diploma or GED
- Able to communicate effectively in English
