Job Position: Pre-K Counts Assistant Teacher Supervisor (Full Time/10 Month)

Location: School District of the City of York

Pay Rate: 34.00/Hour

Shift: M-F 7:45-3:15

Job Details:
SOS Group is seeking a Pre-K Counts Assistant Teacher Supervisor to support and mentor Assistant Teachers within the Pre-K Counts program. This role ensures high-quality classroom support, strong collaboration with school partners, and compliance with program standards. The ideal candidate brings prior classroom experience, strong leadership skills, and a commitment to early childhood education.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide ongoing support, guidance, and mentorship to Assistant Teachers.

  • Coordinate early-morning substitute coverage and fill in when needed.

  • Review and approve timesheets, track attendance, and complete required staff documentation.

  • Participate in weekly PLC meetings and bi-weekly leadership meetings.

  • Attend TPOT debriefs and help develop professional growth goals for Assistant Teachers.

  • Collaborate regularly with principals and instructional coaches.

  • Assist with CDA training participation and monitor staff progress.

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in early childhood education.

  • Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

  • Experience using an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) preferred.

  • Professionalism, integrity, and the ability to maintain confidentiality.

Work Environment & Requirements:

  • Typical school setting with periods of standing, sitting, and lifting up to 50 lbs.

  • Must be able to meet the physical and professional demands of the role.
