Food Server Job Description
As a Food Server at La Familia Cortez Restaurants, you are responsible for ensuring our guests’ dining experiences are enjoyable and well-timed. Food Servers will provide excellent customer service beyond the guests' expectations. A professional attitude is necessary for this team environment. Perform other duties and responsibilities as requested by other Team Leaders and/or Managers at any time.
Responsibilities 
<ul>
<li>Professional full service at tables with ability to up sell additional products;</li>
<li>Make recommendations or share additional information upon request;</li>
<li>Work as a team with all service and kitchen staff;</li>
<li>Follow all relevant health department rules/regulations.</li>
</ul>

Requirements
<ul>
<li>Must be at least at least 18 years of age;</li>
<li>2+ years serving experience in high volume restaurants preferred;</li>
<li>Excellent problem solving and decision making skills;</li>
<li>Active listening and effective communication skills;</li>
<li>Ability to stand for up to four (4) hours at a time;</li>
<li>Ability to lift up to forty-fifty (40-50) pounds;</li>
<li>TABC and Texas Food Handler's Certification.</li>
<li>Other duties as needed.</li>
