Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time Special Education teaching opportunity is available for a dedicated educator to support students from 1st through 8th grade in an onsite school setting. This contract position begins immediately and continues through June 17, 2026, offering a consistent schedule Monday through Friday, from 8 AM to 4 PM, totaling 40 hours per week.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individualized and group instruction tailored to the unique needs of students with moderate disabilities.
  • Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with educational standards and student IEP goals.
  • Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, and families to create inclusive learning environments.
  • Monitor and document student progress, adjusting strategies to maximize educational outcomes.
  • Maintain compliance with all district policies, including completing required fingerprinting and CORI background checks.

Qualifications:

  • Massachusetts Moderate Disabilities teaching license valid for grades PreK8.
  • Proven experience working with students in grades 1-8 with special education needs.
  • Strong understanding of individualized education programs (IEPs) and differentiated instruction methods.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Commitment to fostering a supportive, positive learning atmosphere.

Location:This role is based onsite at a school campus in Lowell, MA, requiring daily in-person attendance.

Clearances:Candidates must complete fingerprinting and CORI checks as part of the hiring process.
