Title - Production Technician

Location - La Vergne, TN

Hours:

• Monday to Thursday, 4:00 PM to 2:30 AM

Pay Rate: $21/hour.

Summary

The Production Technician role leads equipment operation, batch execution, and documentation within our powder manufacturing operations. The technician plays a critical role in maintaining quality standards, compliance, and production efficiency through the proficient use of machinery and adherence to process documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate, calibrate, and troubleshoot powder processing machinery, including blenders, mills, sifters, and packaging lines.
• Lead batch execution by interpreting batch records and SOPs, ensuring accuracy and completeness in documentation.
• Own and maintain batch logs, cleaning logs, and operational checklists per GMP and regulatory requirements.
• Ensure correct machine settings, monitoring process parameters and making real-time adjustments to maintain product quality.
• Collaborate with QA and production management to resolve batch discrepancies or deviations.
• Train and guide Production Associates in safe and efficient production practices.
• Perform line clearance and equipment cleaning in accordance with SOPs and cleaning validation protocols.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or relevant certifications a plus.
• 2+ years of experience in powder or dry blend manufacturing, preferably in nutraceutical, food, or pharma industries.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with industrial production equipment.
• Proven ability to complete and manage GMP documentation accurately.
• Working knowledge of SOPs, batch record compliance, and cGMP standards.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
