Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-semester contract position is available for a Physical Therapist specializing in school-based services within a K-12 educational setting in Chisholm, MN. This role involves providing specialized therapy to students, supporting their physical development and helping them overe challenges that may impact their learning and participation in school activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, and implement physical therapy interventions tailored to students' individual educational needs.
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress and integrate therapy goals into the classroom environment.
• Maintain detailed documentation of therapy services and student progress in pliance with school policies and state regulations.
• Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute professional insights to optimize student outes.
• Provide guidance and training to school staff regarding physical wellness and adaptive techniques.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Licensed Physical Therapist with credentials to practice in Minnesota.
• Experience working with children in a K-12 school setting preferred.
• Strong knowledge of pediatric physical therapy strategies, educational laws, and special education regulations.
• Excellent munication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with school personnel, parents, and students.
• Ability to adapt therapy practices to diverse needs within an educational framework.
