Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Financial Operations Clerk to join our team. This full-time, contract role involves data entry, filing, and clerical duties related to securities and cash transactions for investors. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to work in a team environment.


Duties & Responsibilities

  • Handle a mix of data entry, transaction processing, clerical tasks, and basic financial calculations tied to securities and cash activities.
  • Prepare system-generated reports and review information for accuracy and completeness.
  • Organize and maintain filing systems, supporting broader document management needs.
  • Occasionally move boxes of files (up to 20 lbs).
  • Perform additional responsibilities as needed.


Knowledge & Skills

Minimum:

  • Clear and effective written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Strong accuracy in data processing while meeting required deadlines.
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • High attention to detail.
  • Ability to collaborate and contribute within a team-driven environment.


Preferred:

  • Capable of staying productive despite frequent interruptions.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving ability.
  • Familiarity with banking, custody, or financial systems is a plus.
