Job Details:
\n
• Provide nursing care to patients with health problems ranging from simple to complex in an inpatient overflow unit
\n• Work on the 3rd floor Inpatient Overflow unit which is a mixed medical-surgical/step-down unit
\n• Step-down experience preferred along with charge nurse experience
\n• Assume responsibility for an assigned group of patients
\n• Document patient responses to nursing interventions and prescribed medical treatments
\n• Assist physicians in patient examinations and minor diagnostic procedures
\n• Obtain and monitor physiological data of patients and intervene when necessary
\n• Administer medications as prescribed and manage IV infusions and blood products
\n• Interact with families and patients regarding care plans and discharge planning
\n• Make referrals to appropriate personnel for patient care needs
\n• Delegate tasks to support staff as needed
\n• Required: 1 year of nursing experience
\n• Required: Associate's Degree in Nursing from accredited program
\n• Required: Current Oklahoma RN License or multistate compact RN License (eNLC)
\n• Required: Current Basic Life Support certification from American Heart Association
\n• Preferred: Bachelor of Science in Nursing or higher
