Tax Accountant / Tax Preparer (Seasonal & Long-Term Opportunities)
Location: South Metro Denver
Position Type: Seasonal and Long-Term /Full-Time

About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Tax Accountant / Tax Preparer to support our growing practice during tax season, with opportunities for long-term placement for the right candidate. This role is ideal for professionals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and are committed to delivering accurate, high-quality tax services.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and review individual, business, and/or trust tax returns
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations
- Analyze financial records and identify tax-saving opportunities
- Communicate with clients to gather information and answer tax-related questions
- Assist with tax planning, projections, and extensions as needed
- Support tax resolution matters (preferred but not required)
- Maintain accurate documentation and meet filing deadlines
Qualifications
- CPA preferred, but not required
- EA, MST, or significant tax preparation experience strongly considered
- Minimum 2 years of tax preparation or public accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of current tax laws and regulations
- Experience with tax software (e.g., ProSeries, Lacerte, UltraTax, Drake, etc.)
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines during peak season
- Strong communication and client service skills
