Job Description

The AP Clerk plays a crucial role in managing the financial operations related to accounts payable by processing invoices, reconciling payments, and maintaining vendor communications. This position involves using a combination of manual and automated systems, including software such as SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, and others, to ensure accurate and timely payment scheduling and account reconciliation.

Responsibilities

  • Process invoices accurately and timely using accounting software
  • Reconcile payments and maintain accurate financial records
  • Communicate effectively with vendors to resolve discrepancies
  • Enter data and manage expense reporting with attention to detail
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations
  • Schedule payments, combining manual and automated processes
  • Perform regular account reconciliations to verify balances

Preferred Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Experience with accounts payable and invoice processing
  • Familiarity with financial reporting and data entry
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Effective time management skills
  • Clear and professional communication abilities
