The AP Clerk plays a crucial role in managing the financial operations related to accounts payable by processing invoices, reconciling payments, and maintaining vendor communications. This position involves using a combination of manual and automated systems, including software such as SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, and others, to ensure accurate and timely payment scheduling and account reconciliation.
Responsibilities
- Process invoices accurately and timely using accounting software
- Reconcile payments and maintain accurate financial records
- Communicate effectively with vendors to resolve discrepancies
- Enter data and manage expense reporting with attention to detail
- Ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations
- Schedule payments, combining manual and automated processes
- Perform regular account reconciliations to verify balances
Preferred Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Experience with accounts payable and invoice processing
- Familiarity with financial reporting and data entry
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Strong attention to detail
