Job Summary
Small private school in search of a reading specialist to provide instruction for a small group of two to three students. We are seeking a specialist for one hour a day Monday through Fridays. The reading specialist will collaborate with our speech therapist to implement appropriate programming. Patience and flexibility is key in this position.
Responsibilities
- Assess students' reading abilities and identify areas for improvement.
- Develop and implement individualized reading intervention plans.
- Monitor student progress and adjust instructional methods as needed.
Skills
- Strong background in literacy development.
- Proficiency in using learning technology to enhance instruction.
- Ability to create engaging lesson plans that foster a love for reading.
