This per diem pharmacy technician opportunity is based in Indianapolis, IN, supporting a long-term care (LTC) and mail order pharmacy environment. The role offers an evening shift schedule Monday through Friday from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM, with some weekend hours possible. The initial contract length is 4.5 weeks with potential for extension.
Key responsibilities include preparing prescriptions for mail order and LTC patients, accurately compounding and preparing IV admixtures, and collaborating with the pharmacy team to ensure timely and safe medication distribution. This position requires adherence to all pharmacy law and safety protocols while maintaining strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Desired qualifications include:
- Current Indiana pharmacy technician license
- Pharmacy technician experience, preferably with a background in LTC pharmacy services
