About the Role:

We are seeking a Nursing Nurse Aide in Training to join our team in Ste Genevieve. In this role, you will be responsible for providing basic care to patients under the supervision of a registered nurse. You will assist patients with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming, and help them with mobility and exercise. Your ultimate goal will be to promote patient comfort and contribute to their overall well-being.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Completion of a state-approved nursing assistant training program
  • Current certification as a nursing assistant
  • Ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare team members
  • Ability to lift and move patients with or without accommodation

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a healthcare setting
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays

Responsibilities:

  • Assist patients with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Help patients with mobility and exercise
  • Take and record vital signs
  • Assist with medical procedures as directed by the registered nurse
  • Maintain a clean and safe patient environment

Skills:

As a Nursing Nurse Aide in Training, you will use your strong communication skills to interact with patients and healthcare team members. You will also use your physical strength and dexterity to assist patients with mobility and exercise. Additionally, you will use your attention to detail to accurately record vital signs and assist with medical procedures. Your ability to work collaboratively with others and maintain a positive attitude will contribute to a safe and comfortable patient environment.
