Position Overview:
Construction Mechanics Inc. is seeking an experienced Commercial Electrician for a project in Jupiter, FL. This is a great opportunity for a dependable electrician looking for steady work with a reputable company in the trades. A current Florida JLA Badge is required for this role—please do not apply if you are not already badged.
The right candidate will be skilled in commercial electrical systems, capable of interpreting drawings and specs, and comfortable working as part of a professional crew. Must be committed to quality workmanship, safety, and job site efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:

Install, repair, or replace electrical wiring, switch boxes, receptacles, feeders, and conduits

Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and code specifications

Perform installations for lighting systems, generators, and storage batteries

Install and maintain panels, circuits, switches, and protection devices according to NEC/CEC
-
Calibrate and maintain electrical and industrial control equipment

Conduct electrical testing for continuity, current, voltage, and resistance
-
Perform preventive maintenance and corrective repairs on commercial systems

Troubleshoot and resolve issues that may impact production or safety

Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance, and installations

Follow all safety standards, site protocols, and industry regulations
Requirements:

MUST HAVE an active Florida JLA (Jessica Lunsford Act) badge

High school diploma or equivalent required

Journeyman Electrician license preferred

Minimum 3 years of experience as a commercial electrician

Strong ability to read and interpret schematics, plans, and blueprints

Comfortable with ladders and physically demanding work

Reliable transportation to and from job site

Willingness to work flexible hours or overtime if required
