Position Description:
The Administrative Assistant provides clerical support for the front desk at HRC. They are responsible for organizing all clerical aspects of the facility. In addition, the Administrative Assistant shall work together with the Intake-Discharge Coordinator. This job description does not suggest or imply that these are the only duties to be performed by this employee. They will be required to follow other instructions and to perform other duties as assigned by their supervisor.
Duties and Responsibilities Include but Are Not Limited to:
Answer all incoming calls to the front office
Returning voicemails as needed throughout the day
Take messages for current clients and distribute as needed
Ordering and disbursement of facility supplies as needed
Distribute mail to clients and staff
Distribute incoming faxed documents
Deposit checks into local bank
Greet clients at admission
Assist with Intake process as needed

LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules or policy & procedure manuals.
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
Ability to speak effectively before clients or employees of organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to calculate figures and amounts including addition, subtraction, division, multiplication, and percentages.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions in written, oral, or diagram form.
Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Education and Experience, Certificates, and Licenses:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and three years office experience is preferred.
