Old Mother Hubbard is a daycare center located at 20 S. Hilton Street, Baltimore, MD, 21229. We have several immediate positions for qualified teachers in all age group categories (infant, toddler, preschool, and after-school).

Requirements ( specific requirements depend on what age group you'd like to teach):
- CPR/ First Aid Training
- Basic Health & Safety Training
- American Disability Act (ADA) Training
- 9 hour communication training
- 45 hour Infant & Toddler training
- 45 hour School Age training
- 90 hour Pre-School Children training

Responsibilities
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for infants, toddlers, preschool, and/or school age children.
- Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum to promote learning and development.
- Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Utilize effective communication skills to interact with children and address any concerns.
- Monitor and supervise children to ensure their safety and well-being.
- Implement behavior management strategies and techniques when necessary.
- Collaborate with colleagues to create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Stay current on best practices in early childhood education and childcare.
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment.
- Ensure compliance with all daycare regulations and standards, including maintaining CPR certification.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.50 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week

Experience: Teaching, 1 year

License/Certification:

  • 45 hour Infant & Toddler training certification (Preferred)
  • 45 hour School Age training certification (Preferred)
  • 90 hour Pre-School Children age training certification (Preferred)
  • 9 hour communication training certification (Preferred)
  • Basic Health & Safety training certification (Preferred)
  • American Disability Act (ADA) training certification (Preferred)
  • CPR Certification (Preferred)
