Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Low Voltage Technician to support commercial and industrial projects. This role is ideal for a technician with hands on experience installing, servicing, and troubleshooting low voltage systems who takes pride in clean, organized, and professional work.
You will work in the field alongside project managers and other technicians to deliver high quality communications and security infrastructure for our clients.
Responsibilities
- Install, terminate, and test low voltage cabling systems
- Pull and route CAT5e, CAT6, fiber, and coax cabling
- Install and service systems such as data, voice, CCTV, access control, and other low voltage systems
- Read and interpret prints, scope of work, and installation plans
- Label, dress, and organize cable runs and equipment racks
- Perform troubleshooting and repairs as needed
- Maintain a clean and safe jobsite
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, customers, and team members
Required Qualifications
- 1-3 year of experience as a low voltage technician or similar role
- Knowledge of structured cabling standards and best practices
- Ability to terminate and test copper and or fiber cabling
- Familiarity with basic hand tools and testing equipment
- Strong attention to detail and workmanship
- Reliable transportation and ability to travel to job sites
Preferred Experience
- Commercial low voltage or telecommunications projects
- Experience with CCTV, access control, or security systems
- Ability to read blueprints and low voltage schematics
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification
- BICSI or other industry certifications

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of West Covina, CA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $35.00/hr.
