Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) – LTC / Subacute Rehab
Edison, NJ | 40 Hours/Week
13 weeks Contract
This role is ideal for CNAs with strong LTC experience who are comfortable working with diverse patient populations, including post-surgical, rehab, ventilator, and COVID-positive residents.
Schedule
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care per individualized care plans
- Assist with ROM exercises, ambulation, transfers, feeding, hygiene, and vital signs
- Monitor intake/output and report changes in condition
- Ensure proper use of adaptive equipment
- Complete all required documentation per state and federal guidelines
- Float between units as needed (vent, rehab, post-op, COVID, etc.)
- Communicate effectively with nursing staff and interdisciplinary team
Required Qualifications
- Active NJ CNA License
- Minimum 2 years of LTC (subacute skilled nursing) experience
- BLS Certification (AHA)
- HS Diploma or equivalent
- Completion of approved CNA program
- Must be willing to work with COVID-positive patients (no exceptions)
- Must be willing to float throughout facility
- Must pass facility-issued competency exam during first week
