Position Summary
Under direct supervision, coordinates and assists in job search and placement for graduates and students. Maintains confidential and detailed client and referral records. Delivers and/or coordinates presentations, workshops, and seminars as appropriate to the position. Evaluates and resolves student inquiries, issues, and problems, ensuring appropriate action is taken to the satisfaction of the student, Company, and/or regulatory agencies in compliance with policies, procedures, and legal requirements.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Sales
- Maintain an active lead generation system to ensure sufficient job opportunities are available for students and graduates.
- Maintain contact with local employers to obtain information on job opportunities, develop and enhance working relationships, and facilitate student placement:

- Provide school/curriculum information to companies when requested.
- Conduct daily outreach to new companies to develop relationships as potential employers.
- Coordinate employer field trips, attend job fairs, and prepare print materials to generate job leads.
- Identify entry-level job openings for students and graduates through phone calls, newspaper ads, personal contacts, and written correspondence.
- Ensure all placement-related data is entered into the Company-designated electronic recordkeeping system accurately and in a timely manner.
Graduate Placement
- Achieve targeted minimum placement rate as set by the Career Services Director.
- Critique and edit student and graduate resumes, cover letters, and other employment documentation; advise on workplace etiquette, professional dress, interviewing, and related topics.
- Activate and maintain relationships with graduates until employment is successfully secured within the field or a related field of study.
- Assist qualified graduates with job-seeking efforts by conducting employability workshops.
- Work individually with graduates to support their career search:

- Counsel students on resume preparation and career search strategies.
- Prepare graduates for interviews and follow up regarding interview outcomes.
- Maintain weekly contact with graduates to track employment progress.
- Educate students on job duties, compensation and benefits, schedules, working conditions, company/union policies, promotional opportunities, and related information.
- Inform students about potential expenses and considerations related to relocation and starting a new job.
- Match graduates with job requirements.
- Review and monitor progress of applicants who are interviewing; follow up after interviews and advise on next steps.
- Maintain student/graduate conversion logs and secure documentation in the Company-approved database.
- Verify continuous employment for graduates in accordance with school, accreditation, and Company guidelines.
Administrative
- Maintain a weekly log of activities (including employer calls and student interactions); ensure all are fully documented in the Company CampusVue database.
- Assist with school-related activities such as graduation ceremonies, new student orientation, business advisory meetings, and similar events.
- Maintain a high level of organization and professionalism.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Other
- Regular and reliable attendance.
Skills/Competencies/Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent
- 1 to 3 years of relevant experience
- Or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Classification: Non-exempt
Work Hours: 40 hours per week (may vary daily); evening and weekend hours may be required
