Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity supporting PreK-8th grade students with occupational therapy services during the 2026-2027 school year. This full-time role (40 hours per week) spans from early August through late May and allows you to make a meaningful impact across multiple school sites in the Manteca, CA area.
Utilize your expertise in school-based occupational therapy in a collaborative, supportive educational environment. Your commitment will help students build functional skills that empower them to thrive academically and socially.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid and current Occupational Therapist license for California.
- Previous experience in school-based settings, with a focus on PreK to 8th grade populations.
- Familiarity with IEP process and creation of individualized goals.
- Strong collaboration skills to partner with teachers, staff, and families.
- Comfort working across multiple campus locations.
- Experience in teletherapy is a plus, though all services will be on site at this time.
- Strong communication and time management abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative OT services to PreK-8th grade students, in accordance with each IEP.
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized intervention plans, and maintain accurate documentation.
- Participate in IEP meetings and team discussions to support student success.
- Adapt activities and recommend accommodations for student learning environments.
- Manage a diverse caseload while working at more than one site within the district.
