Full Time Specialty Pharmacy Manager/PIC - Sacramento, CA

Soliant Health is excited to present an incredible opportunity for an experienced and dynamic Specialty Pharmacy Manager/PIC in Sacramento, CA. Youll be working Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with no weekend or on-call coverage required.

In this role, you will manage the day-to-day operations of the pharmacy, overseeing inventory management, staff supervision, and prescription verification. You will also be responsible for ensuring that the pharmacys workflows are efficient, providing clinical onboarding activities, and ensuring proper counseling for patients. With the growing demand for specialty medications, youll also manage medication orders, wholesaler invoices, and interact regularly with the Operations Director to maintain seamless operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee inventory management, including receiving and verifying wholesaler invoices.
• Verify prescriptions to ensure accuracy and appropriateness for patients.
• Supervise and manage a team of 2 pharmacy technicians, including assigning tasks and ensuring efficiency.
• plete clinical onboarding for new patients, including counseling and medication education.
• Maintain efficient operations in the pharmacy to ensure high levels of patient care and workflow.

Required Qualifications:

• Active, in-good-standing California Pharmacist licensure.
• Proven experience in pharmacy management, including inventory management and staff oversight.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and retail pharmacy settings.
• Experience working with specialty medications (oncology and rheumatology experience preferred).
• Ability to train and manage pharmacy technicians.
• Strong munication skills and a collaborative approach to working with the team.
• Ability to work independently and maintain high standards of patient care.
