Our client is a leading company specializing in Mechanical Engineering, Tribology Solutions, and Industrial Systems. We are looking for a dynamic and driven Sales Engineer to join our growing team and help them expand their reach!


POSITION OVERVIEW:

As an Industrial Sales Representative, you will be the driving force behind the growth of our diverse product offerings, which include mechanical engineering projects, automated lubrication systems, tribology products and services, air compressors, and fuel storage/transference systems. You will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with industrial clients, understanding their needs, and providing customized solutions to meet their business objectives. This is an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology in a fast-paced, high-reward environment.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Identify and target new business opportunities in mechanical engineering, tribology, lubrication systems, and related industrial solutions.
  • Proactively seek out prospects through networking, cold calling, and industry events.
  • Establish and nurture strong, long-lasting relationships with key decision-makers in industrial sectors.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for inquiries, technical questions, and post-sale support.
  • Present and demonstrate the benefits of our product lines (automated lubrication systems, tribology solutions, air compressors, storage and transference systems) to prospective clients, showcasing their value and addressing specific client needs.
  • Lead negotiations with clients to secure contracts, providing customized solutions and maintaining a high level of professionalism throughout the sales process.
  • Close deals while meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Continuously research and analyze industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to provide input into our sales strategies and ensure we are offering the best solutions in the market.
  • Work closely with the engineering and technical teams to ensure that solutions provided to clients are practical, feasible, and deliverable on time and within budget.


QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proven experience in sales, preferably in mechanical engineering, industrial solutions, or tribology products/services.
  • Strong technical knowledge of mechanical systems, lubrication technologies, tribology, air compressors, and fuel storage/transference systems is a preferred.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • A results-driven, self-motivated, and goal-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to understand complex technical specifications and translate them into client benefits.
  • Previous experience selling B2B industrial products is highly desirable.
  • A degree in Engineering, Business, or at least 5 years of relevant experience in the field is required.

Strong negotiation and communication skills.

Advanced knowledge of B2B sales cycles and channel management.

Ability to manage multiple opportunities and meet KPIs.

Availability to travel as required.

Spanish – Advanced (comprehensive, writing and verbal)

PAY INFORMATION:

Base Salary: starting at $35,000 annually + commissions
