Job Summary

The Assistant Project Manager drives the project setup, submission delivery, project schedule and closeout for multiple projects under the mentorship of a Project Manager. This role offers opportunities to contribute to active projects and develop the skills needed to advance to the Project Manager role.

Key Responsibilities:

Complete project setup, ensuring all insurance enrollments are completed if applicable.
Complete and confirm fully vetted submittals for submission
Communicate regularly with vendors, PMs, and Supers for status updates.
Track fabrication lead times and align with project schedule.
Understand project schedule and prioritize work accordingly.
Draft and update schedules monthly with PM and Super.
Conduct site visits to verify progress and align tasks to deadlines.
Submit photo-supported punch list reports to client.
Complete and submit all closeout documents.
Drive project completion and final billing.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Communicate effectively with team members and other stakeholders.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in landscape architecture, Civil Engineering, Landscape Industries, or equivalent experience preferred.
Minimum 4 years of experience in project support roles using Procore or similar construction project management program.
Exhibits strong organizational and communication skills, capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
