Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A K-12 school in New Britain, CT, is seeking a qualified School Psychologist for a part-time contract position covering a full semester. The role requires 12-15 hours per week, beginning as soon as possible and concluding on June 9, 2026. This onsite opportunity offers valuable experience supporting students across all grade levels in a dynamic educational environment. Some occasional travel may be necessary to meet student needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and administer assessments for K-12 students
- Prepare and present detailed psychological evaluation reports for Planning and Placement Team (PPT) meetings
- Collaborate closely with school staff, families, and other professionals to support student development and learning
- Maintain compliance with state licensure and certification standards
- Participate in meetings and interviews via Zoom as required
Qualifications:
- Active licensure and certification as a School Psychologist in Connecticut
- Proven school-based experience, preferably within K-12 settings
- Strong assessment and reporting skills
- Ability to work onsite in New Britain, CT, with flexibility for occasional travel
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
