What we’re seeking:
- Experience supporting students with diverse learning needs, as a paraprofessional or aide
- Ability to adapt quickly to different classroom settings and instructional needs
- Commitment to fostering independence and confidence in students
- Professionalism, strong communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with students, teachers, and administrative staff
- Understanding of specialized academic instruction preferred
What you’ll do:
- Assist students in both self-contained and mainstream classroom environments
- Deliver individualized and small group support, as guided by instructional staff
- Implement accommodations and modifications as outlined in student plans
- Participate in daily classroom routines and help create an inclusive, nurturing atmosphere
- Communicate effectively with classroom teachers to support each student’s learning goals
Compensation for this role is highly competitive, offering $35–$40 per hour based on your experience.
