A dynamic opportunity is available for a registered nurse specializing in Operating Room care in Lipan, TX. This contract role is ideal for an OR Circulator RN with at least two years of experience seeking a predictable day-shift schedule and the chance to contribute in a surgical environment that spans orthopedics, urology, gynecology, general surgery, robotics XI, and endoscopy.
Responsibilities include circulating during surgeries with a patient ratio of 1:1 in a facility equipped with six OR beds and two endoscopy rooms. This position follows paper charting procedures and provides scrub supplies for staff. Call duties are required approximately 5 to 7 days monthly, with shifts scheduled Tuesday through Friday from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM. The department does not practice block scheduling or 48-hour shifts and maintains a maximum requested time off limit of three days.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Current RN licensure with at least two years of operating room experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- Experience in orthopedic, urology, gynecology, general surgery, robotics XI, and endoscopy procedures
- Travel nursing experience is preferred
- Must live at least 50 miles from the facility
