Behavioral Health Technician
Job Description

We’re partnering with a school district in Providence County, RI to hire dedicated Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) for the 2025–2026 school year. This role involves working 1:1 with a student at an elementary school, providing individualized behavioral support and skill-building interventions.
This position allows you to work closely with a student to implement treatment plans, track progress, and collaborate with teachers and therapists to create a supportive learning environment.
Position Details:
- Location: In-person, elementary school
- Schedule: Monday - Friday, 35 - 40 hours/week
- School Year: 2025/2026
- Start Date: ASAP
Responsibilities:
- Implement individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) 1:1 with a student
- Collect and document data on student progress
- Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and families to support the student’s goals
- Support skill-building in social, academic, and daily living areas
- Provide a safe and structured learning environment
- Communicate regularly with supervising BCBA regarding student progress and needs
Qualifications:
- Current RBT certification
- Experience working with children, preferably in a school setting
- Ability to implement behavior intervention plans and follow treatment protocols
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Passion for supporting students with developmental or behavioral needs
