Warehouse Manager | Delta Township, MI
Salary Range: $67,000 - $106,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, order picking, packing, and shipping.
- Develop and implement efficient warehouse layouts and workflows to optimize space utilization and operational efficiency.
- Manage inventory levels, ensuring accuracy through regular cycle counts and physical inventories.
- Supervise, train, and mentor warehouse staff, fostering a safe and productive work environment.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with regulations.
- Manage warehouse budget, controlling costs related to labor, equipment, and supplies.
- Coordinate with production, procurement, and logistics departments to ensure timely material flow and order fulfillment.
- Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory, manage orders, and generate reports.
Recommended Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience (5+ years) in warehouse operations management, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of inventory management principles, including FIFO/LIFO, cycle counting, and WMS implementation.
- Expertise in optimizing warehouse layout, workflow, and material handling processes for efficiency and safety.
- Demonstrated leadership and team management skills, with experience in training, performance evaluation, and conflict resolution.
- Proficiency in using warehouse management systems (WMS) and other relevant software (e.g., ERP systems, Microsoft Office Suite).
Bonus Qualifications
- - Experience with Lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives
- - Certification in warehouse management (e.g., APICS CSCP, CLTD)
- - Proficiency in a specific Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system relevant to the manufacturing industry
- - Experience with cold chain or temperature-controlled warehouse operations
