Catalina Gardens is a Minnesota based gardening company providing high quality garden maintenance and installation services throughout the Twin Cities. We operate seasonally from April through November, focusing on the peak growing season to keep our clients landscapes healthy, clean, and looking their best. Our team plays a key role in creating and maintaining beautiful residential gardens.
Position Summary
We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Gardener to join our seasonal team. This full time role involves hands on garden maintenance and installation work while supporting team leads and fellow crew members. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys outdoor work, takes pride in quality results, and works well as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities
• Garden and landscape maintenance
• Mulch application
• Weed barrier fabric installation
• Rock application and landscape bed preparation
• Planting, pruning, and general garden upkeep
• Safe operation of hand and power tools
• Loading, unloading, and transporting materials
• Maintaining clean and organized job sites
Position Qualifications
• Previous gardening or landscaping experience preferred but not required
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical labor throughout the workday
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions for 8–10 hour days
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (required)
• DOT health card preferred
• Ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
Compensation & Schedule
• Pay: $20–$28 per hour, based on experience
• Full-time, seasonal position (April–November)
• 40–50 hours per week
